NEW YORK – The College of Staten Island women's swimming and diving team left the island and hit the big city to take on conference foe Hunter College. While the Dolphins had some stellar performances, it was the Hawks who swam away with a win as they outscored CSI, 59-33, Friday.
Â
Making a splash for Staten Island was Adrianne Vivas as she took the title in both the 1000-yard and 500-yard freestyle, while sophomore
Dakota Dawkins shattered her own school record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.30, which was good enough for second.
Â
The Dolphins return to the water tomorrow as both the men and women make the trek to New Jersey as they take on Ramapo College. The meet is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m.
