MAHWAH, NJ – After making the trek into New Jersey, the College of Staten Island men's and women's swimming & diving teams fell to Ramapo College at the Bradley Center, Saturday.

The Ramapo College men's swim team defeated non-conference rival the College of Staten Island, 146-95, while the Roadrunners women's team outscored the Dolphins, 164-80.
Although both teams were defeated in the meet there were outstanding swims on both squads.
On the women's side
Tina Chen,
Hunter Dawkins, and
Kelly Walsh set personal bests in the 200free, 100back, and 500free respectively. There was also a school record set in 200 breaststroke as
Dakota Dawkins surpassed her old mark with a time of 2:45.20.
On the men's side more personal bests were achieved by
Sergio Miranda in the 200free, Christopher Pinto in the 100back, Mitch Lovell in the 100breast.
Stephen O'Driscoll set personal marks in the 1000free and 200fly. Tim Sweeney was able to pull out a close victory in the 200IM and was just touched out in the 500free despite setting a personal record of 4:57.48.
With the loss to Ramapo, the Dolphins men fall to 4-2 overall, while the women slip to 4-4 overall.

Both teams will take a break for the holidays, but return to action on January 7 when they take on conference foe Lehman College.
