CSI freshman outfielder Nick Meola had a great opening to the 2017 baseball campaign, and for his efforts the first year player has been named CSI's March Male Athlete of the Month.  Meola batted .371 during the month, hitting safely in seven of CSI's 11 games played.  Three of the contests were multi-hit games, including a 4-4 performance with three RBI in a win over Chatham University on March 19.  Meola also walked six times to improve his on-base percentage to .463 and was perfect in the field on 16 total chances.
