Kristi Dillon has been named the College of Staten Island’s Female Athlete of the Month for May 2010. As a rookie on the women’s softball team, Dillon has made a hefty impact on the team’s success.
 
For the month of May, the outfielder tallied five runs, five hits and three RBI with 18 at bats. Starting the month, with the Dolphins first CUNYAC Tournament game against Hunter, Dillon has two runs, two hits (two doubles) and two RBI to help the team to a 7-3 win.
 
After three consecutive games against Baruch in the tournament, the Dolphins eventually lost in the championship game. CSI was given a chance in ECAC play where Dillon tallied one run and one hit despite the 1-6 loss.
 
For her impressive performance during the season, Dillon was named to the CUNYAC First Team All Stars in May.
