Mission Statement
The mission of the College of Staten Island Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by pursuing the unification of the entire college community; to ensure each student-athlete's voice is heard and each team has equal representation; as well as promote and to maintain a high level of excellence, integrity, and character for each student athlete; while maintaining the tenants of the Division III philosophy.
CSI, the CUNYAC and the NCAA value the input of student-athletes. It is for this reason that each sport has representatives that can serve to be your voice to guide policies, legislation, and other initiative. It is the responsibility of the student-athlete to inform their representatives of these viewpoints.

Athletic Awards Banquet Winners
Beginning in 2010, SAAC began awarding the G.L.O.V.E. Award. The annual G.L.O.V.E. Award is awarded to a Head Coach and their team for their model of Giving, Leading, Organizing, Volunteering and Encouraging at the College, a foundation for extra-curricular service above and beyond the call of duty.
