Paying for College

At CSI, we make it easy for you to fulfill your dreams by supplementing our affordable tuition with a number of financial aid options including federal PELL and SEOG, New York State TAP, loans, and more.

CSI's financial aid professionals will help you apply for financial aid by explaining the filing process in simple, easy-to-follow steps.The Enrollment Services Center, located in the atrium of the North Administration Building, can assist prospective and current students who are planning to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as well as the New York State TAP application on the web.

Federal financial aid includes:

  • The PELL grant program
  • Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program
  • The Federal Work-Study Program

Direct loans are also available to eligible students.

New York State aid programs include, among others:

  • The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
  • Aid For Part-time Study (APTS)
  • Military Awards
  • Search for Education Elevation and Knowledge (SEEK)

12178Students should apply for financial aid as soon as they decide to apply for admission or readmission to the College.

Continuing students must file a Renewal FAFSA every year.
January 31- priority deadline for summer/fall 
November 30 - priority deadline for spring.


Filing by the applicable priority deadline makes it more likely that you will have financial aid available to help you pay the bill for tuition and fees by the due date. If you don’t pay the bill by the due date, your registration may be canceled.
