COLLEGE OF STATEN ISLAND ATHLETICS
XC 18 - Robinson HS

Jerome Robinson

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Joining the Dolphins' program in the summer of 2018, Jerome Robinson will begin his tenure working primarily with the track and field program and its jumpers.

Robinson is no stranger to the track & field scene, having spent nearly 20 years affiliated with the sport at the collegiate coaching level.  Most recently, he served as Director of Operations and Assistant Track & Field Coach at nearby Queens College, an NCAA Division II institution.  There, he coached sprints, jumps and hurdles and handled all aspects of budgeting as well.  For six years before his stint at Queens, Robinson was an assistant with the Central Park Track Club New Balance where he coached jumps and sprint hurdles for the USATF Elite Development Club.  In 2016, Robinson doubled as an assistant voluntarily with St. Peter's College.

For five years, Robinson devoted his time within the CUNYAC with Lehman College from 1999 to 2004, serving as a jumps and hurdles coach, so he is familiar with the conference landscape.  Robinson did the same for two years following his tenure at Lehman with Globe Institute of Technology.
