College of Staten Island Athletics

After another stellar month, CSI senior Will Fonseca has been named the CSI Male Athlete of the Month for January of 2016.  The men's basketball team had a busy month, posting a 7-3 record and Fonseca was at the center of it all, averaging a robust 25 points per game to go with 10.3 rebounds per contest with a team-high 12 blocked shots.  He posted six double-doubles, averaging 30.3 minutes per game.  Fonseca's month included a 33-point outing against Hunter College on January 20, and he started the month with a 32-point effort against Brooklyn College.
