CSI freshman Patricia Riches had a stellar opening month of play for her career and for her efforts was named the CSI March Female Athlete of the Month.  Riches was sensational at the plate, posting an amazing .595 batting average, easily leading the team with 22 hits in 37 at-bats with 16 RBI, four doubles and three homers.  She was also walked six times and posted a pair of stolen bases.  In a big win over Lehman, the shortstop broke the school record with seven RBI, powered by two home runs which also toed a program record.
