For the second time in as many months, CSI freshman softball standout Patricia Riches batted her way to a Female Athlete of the Month honor at CSI.  In 26 games, Riches continued her dominant ways, posting a monster .512 batting average with 41 hits in 80 at-bats with 29 runs scored and 28 RBI.  She posted 13 extra bases and her on-base percentage was .568 thanks to 8 walks and five hit-by-pitches.  The stellar shortstop made a lone error in 68 chances as well.  She also tied her own school record with 7 RBI in a single game against Baruch College and in that same game she tied a record with three doubles in the game as well.
