College of Staten Island Athletics

CSI tennis star Samantha Maizer is the College's Female Athlete of the Week for the week of September 11.  After missing the entire 2016 season, Maizer debuted this weekend for the Dolphins, jumping up four spots in the lineup in the process, winning in both singles and doubles against Hunter College.  In Singles, Maizer scored a 6-4, 6-2, winnere in the No. 2 position and was just as potent in Doubles, where she and Katherine Villarroel teamed up to score an 8-5 win, helping CSI greatly in its 6-3 win over the Hawks.
