Just past her first meet of the season, senior Ewa Wojciechowska has been named the CSI Female Athlete of the Week for the week of October 30. The Preseason Swimmer of the Year in the CUNYAC picked up right where she left off last year in her lone meet against Mount Saint Mary this past Saturday. First, she won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:48.74, almost two minutes faster than the pack for first place. She won another gold in the 100-yard freestyle, coming in 58.68. To finish the lone meet she swam anchor in a 4:31.90 in the final event of the day, the 400-yard medley relay, helping the Dolphins to a second place finish.
