For a solid two games this past week, CSI sophomore Christian Taylor has been named the CSI Male Athlete of the Week for January 2. Christian was named to the Tournament of Heroes All-Tournament team after a fine pair of performances against both Salisbury University and Roanoke College. Against Salisbury, Taylor shot 6-8 from the floor, finishing with 14 points and a game-high six assists in 36 minutes. Against Roanoke, Taylor once again led the team in scoring with 18 points on 8-13 from the field and was 2-4 from three-point range with four rebounds and five assists, a team high. For the season, Taylor is averaging 14.8 points per game, and also leads the team with 5.2 rebounds per game and 32 assists.
