After a sensation week with four games played, sophomore Jamie Holmes has been named CSI's Female Athlete of the Week for April 2. In the doubleheader against St. Joseph's College (LI), she went 3-3 with two doubles in a 7-2 win in game two of that doubleheader adding two RBI and two runs scored. The next day against Lehman, she was 2-3 in game one with a run scored and then followed it up with a 2-4 performance with three RBI and two runs scored adding another double. For the week she was 7 for 12 at the plate with five RBI and five runs scored and three doubles, good for a .583 average. That lifted her season batting average to .290.
