Jason Ribeiro has been chosen as the College of Staten Island's Male Player of the Month for September 2008. Ribeiro is a 5-10 senior midfielder on the men's soccer team.

Ribeiro has had an incredible season thus far. His big break came when he scored five of six goals for the Dolphins in their 6-4 win over City Tech, the team's first win of the season. Ribeiro's five goals is a conference best.

After being named to the CUNYAC Second Team All Stars in 2007 with 13 goals for the season, he starts this season with 12 goals and 26 points for the Dolphins.
