Closing out her final regular season, CSI senior Nicolette Trapani has been named the Female Athlete of the Week for April 30. Trapani put a healthy punctuation mark on her career with a complete-game no-hitter and shutout win over John Jay College this past weekend as her team swept a doubleheader on Senior Day. Trapani fanned 11 of the 19 batters she faced, improving her season win-loss total to 9-6 with a team-best 2.34 ERA. She has struck out 91 batters in 92.2 innings of work.
