CSI's final Female Athlete of the Week honor belongs o Women's Soccer star Samantha LaValle. LaValle was recently named the College's Female Athlete of the Year on May 14 as part of the CSI Awards Banquet. She had a phenomenal debut season as a sophomore transfer, scoring a team best 22 goals in just 16 games, including scoring a goal in CSI's final four games of the the year, two of them as part of the CUNYAC Championship and then another in CSI's NCAA Tournament game. She also finished the year wth a team-best 79 shots, 53 on goal, with six game-winners, the second-highest total in CSI single season history.
