Soccer’s Dong Luu has been named College of Staten Island’s Male Athlete of the Month for September 2010. Despite the Dolphins, 1-7-1 record for the month Luu has been of importance to the team.

From Hanoi, Vietnam, the freshman has totaled six points for the month with four assists and one goal. In the Dolphins big 4-2 win against the defending CUNY Champions of York College, Luu had a goal and an assist.

Luu played in all nine games in September totaling 12 shots for the month averaging 1.33 per game while averaging .44 assists per game.
