College of Staten Island Athletics

CSI Women's Swimming sophomore has been named the school's Femaile Athlete of the Month for November 2013.  The accomplished star had a terrific start to the 2013-14 campaign as CSI posted six meets in the busy month.  VIvas was a part of five of those meets, and was an integral figure in the pool.  All totaled, the freestyle standout posted 9 first place finishes next to six second place finishes.  Seven of those first place finishes were in individual events, including a trio of first place finishes in the 500 and 1000-yard Freestyle events.  In meets against John Jay College and Brooklyn College, Vivas swept all three first place finishes in her events, which also included relay events.
