The Hunter College Hawks defeated the Dolphins in women's volleyball last night, 3-0. The sets saw scores of 25-14, 25-11 and 25-7. The Hawks stay undefeated in the CUNYAC with an 8-0 record and 17-6 overall while the Dolphins fall to a 2-5 CUNYAC record and 2-16 overall.
 
CSI's Pola Poskrobko led the Dolphins with three kills while JeanMarie Lewandowski had a game-high 14 digs. Gabriele Bradshaw added six digs with four assists.
 
Lucia Stosic had a game-high 10 kills with tow blocks assists. Christine Luebcke had seven digs and three kills. Katina Boutis added 22 assists.
 
 
The Hawks totaled 39 kills and 27 digs to the Dolphins 8 kills and 30 digs.
 
The Dolphins will travel to Cooper Union on Friday, October 21, for a 6:30 pm game. On Tuesday, they will host York College in their final conference game at 7:00 pm. the game will also serve as their Senior Day where they will honor lone senior Danielle Ponsiglione.
