Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

WONG SERVES PASSED OLD WESTBURY 3-0

The College of Staten Island women's volleyball held Old Westbury to a -.020 attack percentage while the Dolphins crushed 36 kills and improved to 4-4 on the season with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-16, 25-17) non-conference victory on September 19.
Staten Island (4-4) posted its second consecutive win over the Panthers (1-3) hitting .174 as a team while landing 16 aces.

Senior setter Brittany Minondo delivered 25 assists and four service aces while hitting .167 with three kills.  Senior middle hitter Selma Kolenovic had another outstanding performance, hitting .500 with 9 kills and two errors while defending six digs and junior outside hitter added a game high 10 kills at a .350 percentage with one ace.

Junior libero Victoria Wong led the team with eight aces on the day while adding 9 digs.  Wong also contributed with one kill with no errors.  Defensive Specialist Skenderjie Mila tallied a career high four kills.  Freshman outside hitter Shanayia Lloyd tallied three kills, a team high, while securing one ace and 10 digs.

The Dolphins are back in action on Wedesday, September 23 when they will take on St. Joseph's College – Long Island at 7:00 pm in Patchogue, NY.
