News & Notes: The Dolphins owned this series when it started back in 1994 but since 2011, Staten Island has been unable to pick up a win. Over the last five matches, the Dolphins have won just once, a 3-2 victory in 2010. Since then, the Dolphins have been swept twice and won just one set during the other two matches. This season the Dolphins have new attacking weapons they will use on the Angels in hopes of snapping a four-match losing skid. In this series, the Dolphins have played better when on the road as opposed to at home, posting a 4-2 road record.
