Caitlin Esposito will use her serving skill today and look to collect more service aces. Esposito leads the Dolphins with 49 aces as she has picked her spots to capitalize and help lift the Dolphins to crucial wins.
Jay-La Guy has added height to the Staten Island squad and has given assistance to
Margaret O'Malley-Rebovich at the net to give opposing attacker problems, causing them to redirect their hit.
Arianna Spears continues to put the ball in the best spot to help her teammates succeed.
Players to Watch (WPU): Alyson Toman has been sensational for the Pioneers this season, pacing the way with 247 kills. Toman is also hitting the highest on the team with a .353 percentage. Kendall Caruso has been crucial to Toman's success this season as she has tallied 559 assists in 19 matches this season. Chelliah Phillips has made it hard for her opponents to get clean shots as she gets a hand on most attacks.
Players to Watch (MSMC): Morgan Burke is atop the table for the Knights with 169 kills followed closely behind by Alex Klessin with 148. Klaire Wall has been able to find success from behind the stripe this season and leads the Knights with 34 service aces.
News & Notes: The Dolphins have never defeated the Pioneers in their history, falling in 16-straight matches. The Knights boast a 10-1 record against the Dolphins with Staten Island's last win coming in the 2006 season. The Dolphins are 5-7 on the road this season compared to 5-3 at home.
