Castellano also causes problems for her opponents when she gets to serve as she has compiled a team-high 43 service aces. Ramapo College has a pair of setters with over 190 assists, however, Kate Shirkey leads the way with 296. Aniella Bednarz and Samantha Main lead the team with 40 blocks each as they have been a nuisance for opposing hitters all season. Defending the back line is Kristina Semple with a total of 218 digs.
News & Notes: This will be the eighth meeting all-time between the Dolphins and Roadrunners with the latter holding a 5-2 edge. After winning the opening two games of this series back in 1978 and 1979 the Roadrunners have won five straight with the most recent match coming in 2009 in Staten Island, NY. On a neutral court, the Roadrunners are undefeated against the Dolphins, posting a perfect 3-0 record. The Roadrunners have been trending in the wrong direction lately, losing 12 in a row while the Dolphins have won four of the last five.
