Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving teams are ready to jump back in the Dolphin Tank for a home tri-swim meet between Queens College and Mount Saint Mary College. The Women will play both colleges while the Men will play only Mount Saint Mary College during the meet.
WOMEN LAST TIME OUT
The Women were last in the Dolphin Tank in January of 2020. The Dolphins finished the 2019-2020 season with a record of 7-5 while placing 12
th out of 15 at the Metropolitan Swimming Championships held in February of 2020. Due to the pandemic, CSI did not have a 2020-2021 season.
MEN LAST TIME OUT
The Men were also last in the Dolphin Tank in January of 2020. They finished the 2019-2020 season with a 5-4 record while placing 7
th out of 15 at the same Metropolitan Swimming Championships held in February of 2020. Due to the pandemic, CSI did not have a 2020-2021 season.
DOLPHINS TO WATCH
Both Dolphin squads come in with relatively new rosters, the Men bring back five players from the 2019-2020 roster, adding seven Freshmen. Lone senior on the team, Michael Sorenson looks to make an impact, alongside Junior
Michael Stora, as both have the most experience as a Dolphin Student-Athlete. For the women, they bring back three players including junior
Bridget Mulvey. The Dolphins bring in four Freshmen with hopes of both experience and youth to help propel them to a couple of victories to start the 2021-22 season.
