Staten Island, NY | The Fall 2021 Esports Season has officially kicked off last week! CSI saw itself immersed in plenty of action across both ECC & ECAC competition. Below you will find every Esports match played in Week One. In addition find out who play this week and watch LIVE if applicable.

Game Notes:	ECAC: CSI battled brilliantly despite losing, 2-0, in a best of three 9-stock crew battle style format. The lone returner for the Dolphins, Sofronio Lorenzo (Sofrito) took out a bulk of NYIT's stocks in both games, however, NYIT utilized their chosen characters well and were able to come back in both sets to steal away the victories from the Dolphins.    ECC: In the inaugural season of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (SSBU) for the ECC, they will be playing a 1v1 best of five battle format, meaning ECC member schools can send X number of players to compete while representing their college. In round one of matchups, CSI's James Handibode lost to CSI's Nicholas Lam, 3-1. Meanwhile, CSI's Justin Pena shutout NYIT's Logan P, 3-0 and Daemen College's Aaron S took a, 3-1 over CSI's Emmanuel Santos.

Game Notes:	CSI's lone FIFA 21 Esports athlete this year is Amr Mousa aka " mousey"  who made his Dolphin Esports debut giving CSI Esports their first Fall 2021 victory in the game of FIFA 21. Amr won the best of three matchup, 3-1, 6-2, allowing only three goals across both games against Central Maine Community College's Fernando Melo aka "ferchito1532".

Game Notes:	ECC: The CSI Rocket League (RL) returning trio of Samuel Rozenfeld (Eleventeen), Ralphy Vargas (Driftzy), and Maxim Kleyer (Muckz) were able to pick up right where they left off last season after winning the ECC RL Spring 2021 Championship with a, 3-1, victory against Farmingdale State College's A Team to start their Fall 2021ECC RL season. In what is played in a best of five, the first game went to the Rams, 7-0, however, as they did last season, they were able to come back in thrilling fashion to win the next three games in a row to take the match. In three victories for the Dolphins, they combined to shoot, 8-19 from the field compared to the Rams who were 3-18 in those losses. CSI also played stellar defense, saving 11 Ram shots in their wins, many at key moments in the games.   ECAC: The very next day, that same trio on the CSI Dolphins Rocket League team played their first ECAC matchup of the Fall 2021 season. CSI lost to Boise State University, 3-0, in a series that could have turned at any moment. CSI lost the first two games by one goal (3-2, 5-4), though, in the third game, Boise State turned up their offense and ran away with the final game, 8-2. Last season, CSI made it to the ECAC finals, however, they fell short to WVU Potomac State College in an effort to capture two Rocket League titles in two conferences in the same season.

Week One Result:	CSI 2, Southern New Hampshire University 1 (11-13, 13-6, 13-2)

Game Notes:	In the Fall 2020 season, CSI Esports had emerged for the first time in CSI Athletics history, and the Dolphins Valorant team added to that with a undefeated (10-0) ECC championship. The same team also completed in the Spring 2021 semester under the ECAC, however, they came up short in finals, which was their only loss of that season. Last week, CSI's Valorant team returned to action to defend their ECC crown with a, 2-1 (best of three), victory over Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). CSI remains undefeated in the ECC. CSI lost their first game, 11-13, in tight battle. However, they bounced back nicely outscoring SNHU in the final two games, 26-8. Christian Dumadag (Juicy) racked up 45 kills in those last two games, though, the wins were a team effort, Longxin Lu (Miruux) successfully planted the bomb a total of 12 times in those wins, nine of which came in the final deciding game.

Game Notes:	CSI was outbattled in their first matchup of the season losing, 3-0, to a very strong SNHU. In the first game mode of Control CSI was unable to gain any control percentage, that led to an easy victory for SNHU. In the next two games of Assault, CSI defended as long as they could, however, one to many ultimate attacks were the downfall for CSI.

Game Notes:	This will be CSI's first year entering the League of Legends ECAC competition after a year of putting together a full team to compete. In their first official match they lost a tight one to a seasoned Johnson & Wales University, 2-1.
