MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING NARROWLY BEATEN BY PACE, 116-115; WOMEN SUFFER LOPSIDED DEFEAT, 130-68

Pleasantville, NY - The College of Staten Island Swimming and Diving teams were right back in action this afternoon as they hit the road to take on Pace University. Following a quick turnaround after last night's meet, the men came within two points of a victory falling, 116-115. On the women's side, they didn't fare nearly as well suffering a 130-68 defeat.

INSIDE THE MEET

The men rebounded well after last night's lopsided result. David Poggioli took first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.10. Max Kleyer also grabbed first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.56. Anthony Attenborough once again took first place in all of the events he participated in, the 1000-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM, and 500-yard freestyle. For the women, Jessica Johnson earned the win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.24. Morgan Novello also grabbed first place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:05.35, and Slywia Ossowska took first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:18.

DOLPHIN OF THE MEET

The Dolphin of the meet today was Morgan Novello as she picked up the win in the 500-yard freestyle event with a time of 6:05.35.
