MEETDAY: SWIMMING & DIVING TRAVELS TO MONTCLAIR FOR MEETING WITH RED HAWKS AND GOLDEN FALCONS

Montclair, NJ - The College of Staten Island Swimming & Diving Team will return to action today as they travel to Montclair, NJ for a tri-meet with the Red Hawks of Montclair State and the Golden Falcons of Felician University. The men of CSI will be competing against only the Red Hawks in today's meet while the women will be competing against both the Red Hawks and Golden Falcons. The CSI men enter today's meet 2-2 on the season while the women come in 3-1. The Montclair men come in 3-1 on the year and the women come in 2-3. The women of Felician will participate in their fifth meet of the season this afternoon, but they have not recorded an official win-loss tally on the season.

The Dolphins were last in action last weekend as they hosted the inaugural CSI Invite. In addition to being their biggest home meet of the season it was also a record-breaking weekend for the Dolphins. Brooke Manning topped her own record in the 100 Yard Butterfly, Jessica Johnson set new records in the 200 and 400 Yard Individual Medley events, and two separate relay squads set new records in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay and Women's 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. As for the CSI men, they finished with the highest score in their meet last weekend and earned a banner on behalf of the East Coast Conference for their victory. On the women's side, the Dolphins finished behind Roberts Wesleyan and the College of St. Rose which both ended the meet tied at 160 points.

The CSI women have an extensive history against Montclair than spans across four meets, all won by the Red Hawks. They have never faced Felician University and will compete against the Golden Falcons for the first time today. The CSI men are also 0-4 against Montclair, but two of those meets have been decided by fewer than 20 points.
