KEY MOMENTS
Game 1
The Knights got things started early as they scratched in the bottom of the first inning. They took a quick three-run advantage before adding another run in the bottom of the second. Queens College was up 4-0 to start the third. CSI finally got on the board in the top of third where they would close that gap to just one with a three-run inning of their own. This was sparked by singles from both Myers and Castiglione and walks from Morel and Ulaj. Morel would score. After a Gardner reach on a fielder's choice led to an RBI, Myers would run in for the score. To end the inning, a Marten single up to right field would help Castiglione grab a run for CSI. The Dolphins trailed 4-3. The Knights would tack on a sole run in the bottom of the fourth and CSI would answer with a run of their own. This was thanks to a Cippoletti single to left center which led to an RBI as Ulaj scored, 5-4. The Knights would open up a huge lead as they combined for 10 runs throughout the fifth, sixth and seventh innings. They led 15-4 before CSI would finish off with two more scores. An Ulaj fly-out to centerfield and a Collica single to left center helped both Morel and Castiglione score the Dolphins' fifth and sixth runs of the contest. Queens College went on to win 16-6.
Game 2
The Dolphins really struggled in this one. It was game that CSI would only tally one hit and never register a run. Queens College came out strong once again with a three-run first inning. CSI would never respond as both teams wouldn't scratch until the fifth, where the Knight added a sole run to increase their advantage to four. The Dolphins only hit would come in the top of the fifth behind a Cippoletti single to left field. The Knights would finish with a five-run sixth inning and coast to a 9-0 victory.
