The Lions would score their only run of the game in the top of the fifth. In the bottom of the sixth, a Sutera single through the left side and a Cippoletti single to center field would both lead to runs as Castiglione and Sutera scored, 6-1. To close the game, CSI tacked on two more runs and coasted to an 8-1 win.
