MEETDAY: SWIMMING & DIVING OPENS SEASON AGAINST MOUNT SAINT MARY AND FDU-FLORHAM

Staten Island, NY - The College of Staten Island Swimming & Diving Team opens the 2023-2024 season today at The Tank as they host Mount Saint Mary College and FDU-Florham at noon. This offseason has seen the Swimming & Diving program undergo quite a bit of change as it was announced that the team would be joining the Northeast-10 Conference in May. The roster has also grown in size since last season while also seeing the return of several record-holding athletes for the upcoming season. Both of CSI opponents in today's meet are Division III programs that have an extensive history against the Dolphins dating back to the 2017 season. Both the men and women have gone 2-1 in three meets against the FDU-Florham losing in 2017 and winning the two most recent matchups. Against the Knights, the CSI men have won 4 of the 5 meets while the women have taken 3 of the 5 matchups with the Knights.
