MEET DAY: SWIM & DIVE RETURNS TO TANK FOR NE10 TRI-MEET VS. ADELPHI AND FELICIAN

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The College of Staten Island men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to The Tank in Staten Island, NY, to host a their first Northeast 10 (NE10) tri-meet of the season with Adelphi University and Felician University late Friday afternoon.

The Dolphins share a long history with the Panthers, dating back to their first meeting on February 7, 2000, when both the men's and women's teams earned victories. Since then, Adelphi has taken control of the all-time series, with the men leading 11-5 and the women 14-2. The CSI men last won in 2022 with a 101.00–76.00 victory, while the women are on a long losing streak, having last won in 2001.

The CSI men will face Felician for the first time, as the Golden Falcons are competing in their inaugural season. On the women's side, Felician leads the all-time series 3-0, including a 145–60 victory in last year's meet.

Following their first two meets of the season (the CSI Kick-Off and a matchup against FDU-Florham), the Dolphins earned four NE10 weekly awards, two for the men and two for the women. On the men's side, William Kwan was named Swimmer of the Week after a standout performance, while Yubal Parra earned Diver of the Week honors with an NCAA-qualifying score on the 1M dive (11-dive) and a program record in the 3M dive (6-dive). For the women, Jacqueline DeFranco was named Diver of the Week, and Maria Janecka earned Rookie of the Week after setting an individual record and contributing to a relay record during the opening meets.
