PARRA NAMED NE10 DIVER OF THE WEEK FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS SEASON

STATEN ISLAND, NY - The College of Staten Island hosted a pair of Northeast-10 (NE10) events last week. The Dolphins opened with their first tri-meet of the season against Adelphi and Felician on Friday, followed by a matchup with Saint Michael's College the next day. After the weekend, Yubal Parra has earned his second NE10 Diver of the Week award.

On Friday, the junior diver, who is nationally ranked in both the 1M and 3M diving events, continued his impressive season on the boards by breaking two records. He posted a score of 370.70 in the 1M (6-dive) and 363.70 in the 3M (6-dive), with both marks setting new standards in the CSI record book and at The Tank. On Saturday, he took first place against the Purple Knights and finished the 1M with a 368.20 and the 3M with a 320.25.

Parra and the College of Staten Island Swimming and Diving team will be back in action at the Tank this Saturday, Nov. 1, when they host NE10 opponents Pace University. The women will be competing in a tri-meet with the Setters, as well as Division III, Hunter College.
