Maddy Wright was announced as the seventh head coach in CSI Women’s Soccer history in August 2026. A former Division II student-athlete at Alliance University, Wright returns home to Staten Island with extensive coaching experience at the WPSL, Division II, and NAIA levels.
Most recently at Clark College in Washington state, Wright guided the Penguins through one of the most successful stretches in program history. In her first season, she led the team to a program-record 15 wins, 92 goals, and an appearance in the NWAC Championship.
Alongside her collegiate coaching responsibilities, Wright has served as head coach and operations manager for Vancouver Victory of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) since 2023. She led the club through its inaugural WPSL season, with two of its three seasons featuring both the league’s and conference’s leading goal scorers.
Wright also brings a strong administrative background, having previously served as Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) at Multnomah University, Assistant Technical Director at Columbia Premier SC, and Student Academic Success Counselor at Alliance University.
Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alliance University and a USSF A-Senior License.
