Mark Biancoviso has been announced as the 10th head coach in CSI Softball program history in January 2026. He brings more than a decade of coaching experience at the youth, high school, and collegiate showcase levels. He began his coaching career in 2009 at the West Shore Little League before quickly advancing through the ranks. In 2012, he became Vice President and Head Coach of the Staten Island Saints Fastpitch Softball Organization, where he helped develop the program into a competitive force.
Later in 2017, Biancoviso played a pivotal role in establishing the softball program at Xaverian High School following the school's transition to a co-ed institution. The junior varsity program began in the same year of 2017, followed by a varsity squad in 2018. Under his leadership, the Clippers achieved sustained success at the local, state, and national levels. Despite being a program less than a decade old, Xaverian and Biancoviso compiled an impressive 125–38 overall record, earning six division championships and five Brooklyn/Queens finalist appearances.Â
Across his time with the Staten Island Saints and Xaverian High School, Biancoviso has helped more than 75 student-athletes advance to the collegiate level, emphasizing player development both on and off the field.
