Saverio Nardone joined the Baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2024 and brings with him an extensive background in both coaching and conditioning spanning over a decade of experience.  Having coached in the New York City High School and travel circuit, as well as Collegiate Summer Baseball in the Tri-State, he possesses great insight into the landscape of the game throughout New York City and the rest of the tri-state area.. 

His accolades include the first-ever NYC City Championship for Midwood High School in 2016.  He has also been named NYSWAA & MSG Varsity Coach HS of the Year, and in 2017, he was named named ABCA Rawlings Regional High School Coach of the Year.  This came on the heels leading Midwood High School to the program's first-ever Monroe Tournament Championship and second-ever Brooklyn Division title.  In 2023, he would go on to become the winningest coach in the program's history.  Currently, he is the Head Coach of the Gamers in ABCCL, NJ and has led the team to three consecutive winning seasons & semi final appearances.

Nardone joins the CSI coaching staff as an assistant who will provide the team support in the area of strength and conditioning.  His vast experience and long history of success at several different stops throughout his career will certainly help bolster a program that is looking to establish long-term success at the NCAA Division II level.
