College of Staten Island Athletics

Stephen Campbell joined the College of Staten Island Strength and Conditioning staff as an assistant in March 2026. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has served as the Director of the Staten Island Orioles travel baseball program since 2015.

Campbell began his professional career in education as a Special Education teacher at Tottenville High School, where he earned tenure in 2017. He later moved to Michael J. Petrides School, where he remained through 2025. During his time at Tottenville, he coached freshman and junior varsity baseball from 2014–2019, while also serving as a coach for the cross country and indoor track teams from 2016–2019. After transitioning to Petrides, he continued coaching cross country beginning in 2019 and joined the varsity baseball staff in 2023.

A former collegiate baseball player, Campbell began his career at Division II Mercy University, then college, before transferring to Ramapo College, where he continued his playing career.
