It was announced in October of 2022 that Joseph Foreman would be returning to the CSI Athletics staff as the new Athletic Communications Coordinator. A voice that many have become familiar with over the years, Foreman is best-known for his commentary work on CSI Sportsnet. However, Foreman has been a part of CSI Athletics since 2016 when he joined the gameday staff immediately following his graduation from CSI with a degree in Business Management.
Three years after joining the gameday staff, Foreman was elevated to the role of Assistant Sports Information Director in the summer of 2019. While in this role, he was a key part of the effort to develop new programming in the aftermath of CSI's move to NCAA Division II. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Foreman stepped down from that position, but he once again lent his voice to CSI Sportsnet when intercollegiate athletic competition returned in 2021.
After calling all of the Dolphins home games in the spring of 2021, Foreman was back on the gameday staff to stay. During the 2021-2022 Athletics season, he served as the lead play-by-play commentator for nearly every Dolphins home game. For the next three seasons as Athletic Communications Coordinator, Foreman presided over the gameday operation that he has now been an integral part of for a decade. He was also the point of contact for all statistical data exchange, managed the official CSI Athletics website, and hosted events such as the CSI Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony and the Finnies.
Beginning in September of 2025, Foreman's primary role shifted to management of the newly-improved CSI Sportsnet broadcast on FloSports. He will work as both the producer and play-by-play commentator for every CSI Dolphins home broadcast and will continue to serve as a resource for the Athletic Communications office outside of his gameday responsibilities. His previous responsibilities will now be carried out by the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications as he focuses on elevating the CSI Sportsnet viewing experience on FloSports.
Foreman, 32, is a Staten Island native who resides in Matawan, NJ. He operates his own online business specializing in the sale of officially licensed professional sports apparel, video games, and event tickets. An avid sports fan, he is a season ticket holder for the Rangers, Knicks, Mets, Yankees and Phillies. He is also co-owner of the PDF Sports Network, a broadcasting network that offers sports organizations the opportunity to provide a professional level broadcast on a budget.
