After a fantastic month of September, sophomore Nicholas Baccarella has been named CSI's Male Athlete of the Month for September. Â CSI's leading goal scorer has helped the Dolphins get off to a 3-0 start within the CUNYAC, its finest start since 2004. Â Baccarella scored CSI's first pair of goals this season, and picked up five more over the month, including the game-winning lone goal against Medgar Evers on September 24. Â He's also mixed in a pair of assists. Â Baccarella collected a total of seven shots, a career high, against both Old Westbury and against Purchase State in the final game of September. Â For the month, he tallied seven goals, a pair of assists and a team-leading 37 shots.
