In three games last week, Sean Becker made his impact felt, and he has been named the CSI Male Athlete of the Week for May 7, 2019. CSI played three games on the week, two in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament, and Becker had a hit in all three, finishing 5-11 from the plate with an RBI and two runs scored.  Becker was also walked once and was hit by a pitch twice, raising his weekly on-base percentage to .571.  For the season, Becker batted .350, tied for the team highs with 10 doubles and a pair of home runs.
