CSI Baseball pitcher Christian Capellan has been named the CSI Male Athlete of the Month for April, 2016.  With six appearances, including three starts, Capellan elevated himself as the team's marquee starter in April, going 3-0 with a 3.96 ERA.  Overall he pitched 25 innings, surrendering 11 earned runs over 27 hits, walking only two while fanning 18 batters.  What's more impressive is how Capellan finalized the month.  In his last four outings he allowed just two earned runs over 16 innings.  Over the course of the month he threw just one wild pitch.  His three starts all resulted in complete-game wins.
