Adeola Latunji was a huge part of CSI's 17th annual Tournament of Heroes, earning MVP honors and now, CSI Male Athlete of the Week honors for January 2, 2019. The Dolphins played a pair of NESCAC schools and won both, defeating Bates College and Tufts University. Latunji was brilliant in both. Against Bates, he sank nine of 15 shots for a team-best 23 points, adding eight rebounds. The next day, he was very consistent in CSI's Championship win over Tufts, canning eight of 15 shots, including 3-of-5 from behind the arc for a team-best 24 points with nine assists, going a full 40 minutes on the court. For Latunji, he now is averaging 19.6 points per game with a team-best 8.5 rebounds per contest. Latunji is also CSI's leader in blocked shots with 10 and his 19 steals rank third on the squad.
