Kayla Schmitter was a steady presence in CSI's 2-0 week with wins over Brooklyn and Lehman and has been named the CSI Female Athlete of the Week for January 14, 2019.  Against Brooklyn, she posted nine points and rebounds rebounds in just 23 minutes of work, and against Lehman she registered 14 points and a team-high nine rebounds in 28 minutes, giving her an average on 11.5 points and eight rebounds per game over the week.  For the season, Schmitter is averaging 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds per game in 21.8 minutes of work.
