For the first time in her career and in her first-week debut, Sierra Kaplanek has been named the CSI Female Athlete of the Week for March 18, 2019.  Kaplanek had a sensational CSI debut this week through right games.  She batted an even .500, posting 11 hits in 22 at-bats with a team-best four doubles and seven RBI.  She also hit a home run and scored a pair of runs.  She walked and was hit by a pitch twice raising her on-base to .560.  She also registered a stolen base.
