After a great five-game stretch, a run that included three games in the CUNYAC Championship Tournament, Claudia Porcaro has been named the CSI Female Athlete of the Week for the week of May 7, 2019. Porcaro started all five games this past week, posting a .600 batting average, scattering nine hits in 15 at-bats. Four og those hits went for extra bases, including a pair of home runs. She posted three of her nine RBI this week against Hunter College on Day 1 of the Championship weekend, and added eight runs scored with three walks, giving her a .667 on-base percentage this past week. For the season, Porcaro is batting .350, leads the team with five homers and is tied for a team-best 36 RBI.
