Picking up right where she left off a year ago, CSI junior Samantha Wysokowski has ushered in 2013 with a great month of September, for which she has been awarded the Female Athlete of the Month award. Â Going 7-0-1 in the month as a team, Wysokowski is a huge reason why, spreading out 11 goals and a pair of assists on CSI's torrid streak. Â Wysokowski has scored a goal in all but one game this season, and leads the team overall with 28 total points, 55 shots, and 30 shots on goal. Â She is also tied fo the team lead in game-winning goals with three. Â In a battle of undefeated teams to close September, CSI tallied a 3-1 win over Brooklyn College. Â Down 1-0, Wysokowski assisted on the game-tying and then scored the game-winning goal within a 58-second span to help CSI win 3-1.
