First-year junior Thomas Vazquez has been named CSI's Male Athlete of the Month for October.  The Dolphins finished the 2013 campaign as one of CSI's hottest teams, winning seven of their final 10 games culminating in a November 2 loss to Baruch College in the CUNYAC Semifinals.  Vazquez was a big reason for the team's turnaround after a 1-8-1 start.  The junior tallied four goals and four assists in the six games he played in October.  The run included points in four straight games. He also enjoyed a two-assist game in a 4-3 win over Lehman College and a two-goal effort in a thrilling, 3-2, win over Brooklyn College that helped clinch the Dolphins a first-round home playoff game.
