Both CSI women's and men's swimming captured a win over York College on Monday evening at the CSI Sports and Recreation Center. The women took a 105-69 win while the men conquered a 91-69 victory.
Lauren Overeem shined for the Dolphins with two first place wins; 1000 Freestyle with a time of 16:06.51 and 200 IM with a time of 3:12.20.
Vasiliki Stergioula captured gold in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 7:01.96, more than 30 seconds better than the 2
nd place finish. The team of
Priscila Alvarez,
Stephanie Collyer,
Patricia Velloza and Stergioula touched in at 2:14.73 in the 200 Freestyle Relay for a first place finish.
Taking all first place wins in the men's side, CSI saw a fine performance by
Andrey Tarasov and
Mitchell Lovell with two individual golds each. Tarasov ended with a time of 10:31.41 in the 1000 freestyle and 2:01.15 in the 200 IM while Lovell took first in the 100 freestyle with a 1:00.87 time and 1:19.75 in the 100 Breaststroke. Vlad Romanov,

Danila Novikov took first in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:45.17 while Tarasov, Romanov, Rakhimov and Zimarev touched in first in the 200 Freestyle relay with a time of 1:32.83.
