The College of Staten Island men's volleyball team is on a four-match losing skid, and they would like to snap that tonight against Medgar Evers College in what will be their second meeting this season, this time not as part of CUNYAC play. These two teams met in Staten Island on March 11, with CSi winning a competitive affair, 3-0.

Players to Watch (CSI): Christian Dumadag continues to pace CSI offensively on the attack, posting a team-best 119 kills, more than double more than any other Dolphins player. Dumadag is also the team leader with 17 aces this season. Defensively,
Zebin Guo and
Michael Liang are doing a great job on the back line. Guo leads all with 93 digs and is fourth on the team with 42 kills as well. Liang is next in line with 90 digs.
Adil El Haddad continues to pace CSI on the set, as he leads the Dolphins easily with 248 helpers this season.
Tairou Diaman and
Herman Liu are the focal points at the net as they both are tied for the team lead with 14 total blocks.
Players to Watch (MEC): A lion's share of the attack belongs to Emmanuel Jaquez, who has collected a total of 118 kills this season on a team-high 364 attacks. He is terrific on the back line as well as he has collected 118 digs as well, 46 better than any other Cougar. Abdul Kamara is next in line for MEC with 41 kills this season, and look for Jovan Scott to be a vital part of the Cougars attack as he leads the team with 33 aces and is fourth with 35 kills. Kareem Cyrus will be instrumental defensively as he posts 72 digs heading in.
News & Notes: CSI has taken the last seven meetings against MEC after losing the first meeting between the two teams all-time. Tonight will mark the third meeting all-time that the teams have played at MEC. CSI won the other two meetings in 2016 (3-1) and last season (3-0). CSI has won the last three meetings in straight-sets. In their earlier meeting this season, CSI was led by Dumadag's 12 kills, followed by Liu's eight. Liu also posted a pair of aces, while Guo led all with 11 digs. Jaquez was the leader for MEC. He registered 13 kills and eight digs. Scott posted three blocks to lead all scorers in that department.
