The College of Staten Island men's volleyball team is coming off of a convincing win against Medgar Evers College and will use that momentum to try and earn their first-ever win against the Bloodhounds in program history.

Tairou Diaman has had a nice string of matches, proving to be a dominating force at the net. Diaman sits third on the team with 47 kills. Atop the list for the Dolphins is
Christian Dumadag with 124 kills, he also leads the team with 21 service aces.
James Yi and
Herman Liu sit in first and second on the team for the Dolphins with 17 and 16 blocks, respectively.
Adil El Haddad is putting together a remarkable season, tallying a team-high 248 assists through 12 matches.
Players to Watch (JJC): Â Krystian Surdel paces the Bloodhounds with 176 kills, averaging three kills per set. Christopher Rincon and Godwin Sequiera have split duties setting this season with Rincon in the lead with 317 assists followed by Sequiera's 210. Both Alexander Santana and Kellvin Ortiz have 30 blocks on the year with Ortiz edging out Santana with six solo blocks.Â
News & Notes: This will be the seventh meeting between these two schools with the Bloodhounds holding the all-time series, 6-0. The Dolphins have never won more than one set in a match against the Bloodhounds and have recorded at least one win in a match in three of the last four meetings. The Bloodhounds also come into tonight's match on a win streak after taking down the Lightning in a five-set thriller as part of a CUNYAC tri-match.Â
